Folklore friday

In legends, fables and mythology we can find likenesses to say Vampires in other cultures they may have a different description, feed in a different way and even called different things but it is all the same idea. Many of these were around before people even traveled to other countries and continents.

The same goes with language, a phrase may start one way then becomes something different (sort of like playing that game ‘telephone’ where you whisper something into one classmates ear and by the last you have likely a misconstrued version of what you originally said.

For those of you that had a Tooth Fairy, another country has a mouse that takes your tooth. I wonder if other countries have other variations. I found this to be quite interesting and I hope you enjoy it too. But I would guess if you don’t like rodents (no matter how cute they are) that you likely won’t read this.

The Tooth Fairy is a mouse?

I love feedback and comments, they help me know how I'm doing and what you want more of.
